Rush Lambda Phi Epsilon
Rush Week is the time of year when fraternities and sororities
hold events throughtout the week as a form of open recruitment.
Joining a Greek organization is guaranteed to significantly change
your college career, and choosing the right organization can
be a difficult task especially when many of them embody similar values
and beliefs. However, with all the assumptions and sterotypes made about
the Greek system, we believe that Lambda Phi Epsilon offers college students
a unique experience breaking the stereotypes often made about
fraternities. Come out and rush Lambda
Phi Epsilon to discover how we break these sterotypes and why we are truly
"Leaders Among Men". Even if you have doubts about the fraternity system and
are reluctant to rush, we invite you to come out and see for yourself.
Tips
- Be punctual. Being on time shows you care and reflects your dependability.
Showing up late to events is not a big deal, but you should definitely
be early for events offering free transportation.
- Be social. We recommend that you to speak with as many brothers as you can,
but we also encourage you to meet your fellow rushees. After all, they may
become your future pledge bros! Talk with the ladies too; they're as curious
about you as you are about them.
- Be open-minded. You may have some reservations about fraternities based on
what you've heard or seen, but fraternities differ in many ways and
until you've actually tried it for yourself, you
will be ignorant of the possibilities. There are many who believe 'fraternity
life' is not for them, but being a Lambda is more what you make of it than it
makes of you.
- Be updated. Visit the website for updates on rush.
- Be responsible about rush. Remember that in order to be considered for a
bid, you must attend interviews. If you are unable to make it to interviews,
please make arrangements with us beforehand.
- Be safe. Take advantage of our free transportation especially at events that you choose
to drink at.
- Finally, be yourself. Lambda Phi Epsilon is a brotherhood comprised of many
different personalities, aspirations, and interests, all functioning as a unit
to meet the social, service, and brotherhood goals of the fraternity.
